Personally I am hoping for development of a resort hotel west of Santo-Domingo. One that will be close enough to the city (not in it) close enough for a hour drive then escape the city back to the peacefullness of a hotel surrounded by nature. That's my idea of the perfect vacation. I must agree that the Dominican Republic is the best place in the Caribbean to vacation.
