Dominican Republic Weather

Are you visiting the Dominican Republic and you are not sure about the weather. You have probably been to some places were you taught you could enjoy yourself in perfect weather, only to find yourself in a rainy environment.
Dominican Republic is a popular place and it is one of the most visited tourist destination in the whole world. There is a reason for that. Despite its many unspoiled beaches, culture and history and great people, people folk to the Dominican Republic because of its great weather.
This country weather is very tropical with lots of sun to enjoy yourself at the beach. The average temperate is about 77 degree almost throughout the year. The temperature can go up to about 87 to 90 degrees in summer depending on a number of factor. In the mountain region, the temperature is much lower.
For most tropical climates, it tends to have two seasons. The Dominican Republic is not exempt. It has the rainy and the dry season. The raining season is between May and August, while from November to December you only get light shower.
Going towards the costal area, it tends to be much hotter, the northern part also experience raining season from the middle of October until January. The Eastern region and Northeastern part of the Dominican Republic receive heavy rain in June all the way through November. From June till September, you have the summer.
In the southern coast of the country, you have the wet period from May through October. The other parts like Punta Cana and Bacaro experience a dry period in the month of December to March. When compared to other areas of the Dominican Republic, this areas receives less rain compared to others.
For a while now, the Dominican republic has been experiencing Hurricanes. These hurricanes mostly happen from June all the way to September. Dominican Republic has all year round sunny weather and tops the lists of best places to vacation.
