In some provinces of the Dominican Republic you can find a place consisting in an avenue with sidewalk and a wonderful mirador throughout the coast of a city named “El malecon”. Cities in the Dominican Republic such as San Pedro de Macoris -in the eastern region of the country- and Santo Domingo -which is the capital of the Dominican Republic- have its own place named el malecon. El malecon of Santo Domingo is one of the most exciting place in the capital of this country full of beautiful coconuts in the coast of Santo Domingo. One of them is the V Centenario Hotel which is an amazing hotel created in recognition to the 500 years since the discovery of the new world and in celebration of this remarkable historical success. The other hotel that is located in the el malecon of Santo Domingo is the Melia which is replacing an old hotel named Sheraton which is an international hotel chain. There are more things you should have in mind when you are visiting el malecon of Santo Domingo.

One of this things you should have in mind is a touristic complex named El Malecon Center which is part of a complex where is located the top hotel of Santo Domingo that is The Hilton Hotel. In this place you will find a wide range of services such as Cinema, Shops, Spa, Business Center and more. El malecon of Santo Domingo is a very important place and there you will find an amazing nightly life with bars, disotecs and more.
