The city of Santo Domingo is very important place in the Dominican Republic not only because this is the capital or main city but also here is the center of all kind of business and political activities to the rest of the nation. In terms of tourism and places to visit in Santo Domingo you will have a wide range of place that you can visit. Santo Domingo is visited each year for million people from several nations around the world there are cruiuses from the most prestigious travel agencies such as Carnival and others that bring visitors from all places around the world to the port of Saint Souci and Caucedo. Santo Domingo is a city full of restaurants, hotels, motels dancing clubs and more. This city is basically divided -as the traditional way- in a colonial zone that is part of the old Santo Domingo where you will find a historical and cultural richness that everybody should know. But also you will have a part known as the zona oriental with is located to the eastern margin of the Ozama river as well as the occidental part. In both parts of the cities you will have all kind of great places to visit.
Santo Domingo is a colorful city and almost everyday you will have all kind of activities. In the eastern part of Santo Domingo you will realize that every night is a big party everywhere mainly in an avenue named Venezuela where you will find several dancing clubs such as La Barrica, House Drink, Wuao Wuao and other important dancing clubs. In the city center of Santo Domingo you will find a lot of dancing clubs and girl dancing clubs to visit. The nightly life of Santo Domingo is very active and Dominicans living in the capital of the Dominican Republic always are looking of an excuse for dring any kind of beverage such as Cerveza or beer, whisky, vodka and more. Santo Domingo is a wonderful city that you should visit and you will never forget how lovely are people in Santo Domingo and the rest of the country.
